What areas do you service?

We service Lumpkin County, and parts of White, Dawson, Hall, and Pickens County. Please check our service area map or give us a call if you have a question!

What time does my trash need to be ready to be picked up?

Please have your trash out the night before your pickup day. We start our routes early, so please have it ready for us!

Do you require a contract?

No, the service is month to month. Your account will be charged for the upcoming month on the 25th of each month.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept all types of credit cards, and we pay the credit card fees so you don’t have to. If you would like to pay by check, we require that you pay quarterly in advance  instead of monthly in advance.

Do I need to provide my own trash can?

No, we provide our clients with a can. You can even pick the color, because, why not?

Do you service rentals?

Yes, absolutely. We service many short term rentals. We would highly recommend trash can liners for short term rental properties, because trying to get guests to bag trash is like trying to herd cats.

Do you offer valet service for every property?

We can service the vast majority of properties with valet service, but not all. Our trucks are smaller than most (not large and heavy compactor trucks), but we still need adequate space to turn around, and our trucks are 11’ tall, so low hanging branches are a problem. Please see Valet vs. Curbside comparison on the Services Page to see which option is best for you.

What if I need to cancel service?

If you need to cancel service for any reason you are free to do so without penalty. Please note that we do bill a month in advance, so if you cancel after you have been charged, a refund will not be provided. We discontinue service immediately, or we cancel service at the end of the month and then pick up our trash can, whichever is better for you.

How do I pay for my first month service, or update my credit card?

After you sign up, you will receive an email requesting a card for your client profile. You will then be sent a prorated invoice depending on when you start service. If you would like more information on how we calculate the prorated amount, please see the “Billing & Payment Policy” on the Services Page. Once the first invoice is paid, the following monthly invoices will be charged automatically on the 25th of the month to your card on file.

If you need to update your credit card, you can do this within your Client Portal. In your client portal, you will select “Wallet” in the left menu. Here, you can add your new card, change it to your default, and then delete your old card.

What other types of items can you pick up?

We can pick up mattresses, box springs, couches, recliners, appliances, tires, hot tubs, and your husband’s project go cart–pretty much anything that can be picked up by a couple of strong humans and thrown into the truck.

How do I request a special pickup item?

Bulky items need to be scheduled and added to pick up day, so please upload a picture in your account 24 hours before pickup. If you are unable to log into your account, you can text us at (706) 807 – 0123 with a photo.  We will accommodate if possible during the same week, but may have to make a special trip or pick up the following week.

Does all trash need to be bagged?

Yes. If the trash is not bagged, it will not be picked up. Large, clean items are an exception, but we will not pick up small, loose, or gross items.

Do you offer trash can liners?

Yes, we offer trash can liners for $6 a month. These will catch anything that accidentally falls out of your bags, but they are not designed to be used as giant trash bags. We will replace them as needed.

Do you offer a trash can cleaning service?

No, we do not offer a trash can cleaning service, but your can will stay relatively clean if you bag your trash or use trash can liners. We can exchange your can for a clean one for a $30 charge.

Will you pick up cardboard?

Yes, but cardboard should be broken down and in the can.

What items do you accept?

We accept residential trash items. We are not set up to accept construction debris, and legally cannot accept the following: liquid paint, asbestos, poisons, liquids, chemicals, toxins, combustible items, propane tanks, car batteries, lithium ion batteries, animals, tires, and yard debris.

Many of these items can cause our truck to catch on fire, so please do not hide these items in the trash bags!  Some of them we can pick up if they are separated, so please ask if you have a question and we will accommodate if we can!

What happens if all my trash does not fit in my can?

We request that the lid of your can closes flush, this allows the trash to stay dry, helps keep the critters out, and is fair for both parties. We reserve the right to charge $4 per pickup if the lid does not close. No, we will not nickel and dime you or charge you if your lid is an inch or two from closing flush, but if your can is overflowing consistently we will have to charge extra or request that you get an additional can. We understand that certain times (like Christmas) cause a little more than normal, and that is just fine.

How much can my trash weigh?

Maximum weight limit per 96-gallon can is 250 pounds, and the limit per bag is 50 pounds. No, we don’t expect you to weigh your trash or know exactly how much it weighs. We throw trash in our truck by hand, up to ten feet high at the end of our route, so if you can barely lift it in the can we probably can’t throw it in the truck.
